But na,

Ordered new MAP sensor from BMW for Mini, it has two, one TMAP and a MAP.

I point out on their dickhead system I want one in inlet manifold (MAP)

Get it home car runs like bag of shit, check part numbers and they've got me the TMAP, now I've opened box and they are funny about electrical goods being returned but theyve got me wrong one should they exchange it?
