Anyone got them on there B? Was thinking of ditching the GAZ rear coilovers and going back to springs and shocks on the rear.
Do they sit a bit lower on the B than what they do on the nova?

I have used many combinations on my old Corsa and Nova springs sat no different to Corsa ones.
Best off getting some custom 80's made up, used to be around £85.
You interested in selling the rear coilovers?

Can you not still get the stock car rear springs? Iirc they lowered about 90mm and could pick them up from the pro shop on the circuit grounds for about £30.

Recently bought some fronts from coilsprings.co.uk and they didn't give me the drop I wanted.

I emailed coilsprings and asked if i was to send some -60mm springs to them for them to modify them to -80mm and they said they said they can as its part of a new service they do and would cost £60.
Might be worth a shot.

I'm using GAZ gold dampers and -60mm springs with platform adjusters on the rear, but I’ve not got it at -60mm. I've got it sat right for me as I don’t want it on its backside.
I don't see the point in coilovers on the rear with a fixed beam. It's pointless unless you build the back end independent.
And I've heard some people bash the arches in to make them fit which is comical.

I doubt there would be enough steel or turns in a spring that size to be mechanically feasible.

Yeah, the stories of people bashing inner arches does put me off the rear coilovers

I did prefer it on springs and shocks on the rear Colin,i find the rear coilovers annoyingly noisy so waiting to hear from a couple places for prices on the GAZ GT rear dampers and will probably order some new Apex lowering springs and send them to coilsprings to be altered a little.
Yes Jason they will pretty much do anything you want but -140mm springs is crazy ,it will only be like 2 coils if that

This was my old GSi on coilsprings.co.uk customs that where spec'd as 80mm
Can't see how 140's would work

Having to hit them in at all regardless of how little is not right
You'll be right with a GAZ as should be setup and some custom rear springs if you need it that low

Just going over what everyone else has said, I tried a set of Nova shocks & springs for my B and it didn't sit any lower than a friends B on the same 30mm kit for a Corsa.
Even when I got coilovers, the standard springs without the adjuster cups only sat it at 70mm. I currently run some 110/120mm custom springs, which I picked up from someone on here I think.
The car tucks mm perfect on those and the Speedlines.

The trusty old cable tie solves that one, MOT rules state that as long as the spring re-locates correctly if the car is jacked up at the rear, then its fine. So mine have cables ties holding it in place where its seated, which stops them from dropping out

If you want to go that low you'll have to get bags, otherwise you'll be hitting your ass on everything
