Definitely this weekend. There are a series of specific shows and displays going on, but this is the last nationwide tour as far as I'm aware.

I went to an air show a few years back and seemingly the Vulcan they flew was the last ever flight. Clearly not.

I seen one at a museum the other week and they look a lot bigger in the air.
One of the concordes was there too in a hanger.

Good call Nibnob. You will not be disappointed. There's nothing else like her.

It's borderline tragic that she'll never fly again after this season.

Yeah it was pretty impressive. Managed to get into a good spot right where it did a turn and flew directly over me. Video further up in the thread.

I'll be watching her at Dunsfold in August.

Wanted to do RIAT this year, but it's pretty dear, plus my only aircraft-dork/nerd mate is at a wedding or some shite that weekend.

Simultaneously looking forward to it and dreading it in equal amounts.

Seen her twice before, once at Goodwood about four or five years ago and then a lifetime prior to that when I was about 9, at Biggin Hill, where she was pulling off some pretty amazing low level aerobatics with huge G turns and pulling the nose up at the last possible minute over the crowd.

I'll never forget the noise!

We went to watch it at Manchester on Saturday. Had a bite to eat in the pub at the end of the runway then sat in the beer garden at the back as it came in. Pilots did almost a mock approach along the same path as the commercial stuff then just as they got to where everyone was watching they powered up and into a steep climb, amazing sight and the noise is incredible. It's going to be a real shame when it stops flying, surely the biggest draw at UK airshows.

What date is RIAT?

Went down to southend airport on sunday to watch her fly over the one kept there.
My fave aircraft from southend airshow as a kid. Used to do low fast fly pasts on the casino. Was epic and so loud. Could feel it in your chest. Used to make my two year old brother cry

17-19 of next month Gav.

You can REALLY feel it in your chest. Used to fascinate me as a child that a plane could do that to you
