Im using a Blackvue. Was pretty expensive (£279) but that's because it had built in WiFi, so I could review stuff on my phone. (can get cheaper ones). It's not too bad at dusk/night time. Seem to be a popular make too. Might be getting another soon for the rear of my car but not as expensive.

IMHO Best Dash-cam/DVR's are the Mini 080x series.

I have the Mi witness front and rear cameras, but again, quite expensive, has wifi, parking mode (so can see what happens when your not there) can also view footage on your phone.
