Criteria,
New as possible
Low mileage as possible
Diesel
Preferably 5 door. And a proper boot for the dog.
Decent looking.
£3.5k budget
I've mainly been looking at 07/08 Astra CDTi 1.9 150 with exterior pack.
So something along those lines. Anything similar?
Think the Astras about best for the money tbh. And will be decent quick once remapped.

nice them astras. My mates dads fishing friends son had one and everyone would say things like it was a smart car. Also heard "a lot of car for the money" and "you can't go wrong" so i said similar clichés as I've come to understand people have different situations so can't all have an old sports car.
What about a volvo or saab? A little bit more classy imo probably better made.

Saabs are shit, I have an independent saab and Vauxhall garage, there not even classy, unless you like loads of plastic and fake wood, keys shaped like butt plugs that break daily and cost hundreds to fix Id stay clear, vectra and insignias are well better specced and are a lot nicer place to be interiour wise than any 9-3 9-5
