I heard the insurance company ask for a certificate from the installer of alarm? Does anyone on here fit alarms?

Basically i want to fit my own and wondering if there is a course or something i could do to be able to issue the certificate?

Am sure the actual wiring is quite simple

You can normally just get it checked out by a certified installer and they issue a certificate.

Think I paid around £50 for it a few years ago.

If you buy from certain places on ebay they send you the certificate anyway and its self install.

Wouldn't bother with an alarm tbh. It won't see the road again anyway.
