Corsa failed the MOT today as the bush on one of the front coilovers is excessively worn.

Any idea where the bush on the front would be...I'm confused...they are not talking about the top mount bush?

The actual fail statement is..

Nearside front shock absorber has excessively worn bush.

Had a look today and something is certainly worn. Can shake the problem shock whereas the other side is nice and solid.

So top mount assembly replacement should sort it I guess?

Found the bump stop like this when I removed the shock and stripped it.

I would have thought the only part you would class as a bush would be the top mount (the bit that bolts to the car). I dont think a bump stop is a failable item.

I'm not sure tbh, I am replacing the bump stop and I have a brand new top mount as well. Fingers crossed that should cover it for the retest
