You missed out 3-4 years
Z4 i've had almost 3 and a half years. Longest i've owned a car by far. Mostly because I can't actually be bothered to mess around selling it.
ST is 5 months old now.

Shortest amount of time I've had a car was 8 months, longest is 4 years however I think the Megane is going to be around for a while

only reason i still have the MX5 (6 years) is because i can't find anything that offers as much fun to drive.
when i replace i want increased practicality (rear seats) but struggle to find anything which ticks the boxes other than a GT86 but out of my price range atm.
(i only intended on having the car 18months....!)
i still have a 1985, 1.0 Nova in a garage, family owned for 25 years (second owners), although been off the road the last three.
