Needs to be 5 door and put a pram in the boot. 6k budget.
Looked at Ford today but was very limited. Found a decent spec 61 plate Fiesta but looking over it i found it had 3 odd tyres, no spare wheel, looked like it had been revered into something at some point and in general i got the gut feeling it had been driven quite hard.
Currently does around 4k a year.

This is for my wife to use. It will do the weekly shop and hospital visits for my 5 week old son.
Reason we are getting shut of the 207 is because it has become very unreliable.

Fiestas don't have spare wheels.
As 3CM said, vectra. Or if you don't want something as large an Astra. I've just bought an 08 plate 150 SRi CDTi XPack 5 door Astra, 74k on and paid £3k for it.
Could go for the 1.8 petrol if your not going to see the benifit of diesel.

Had a couple of Fiesta's as company cars in my last job and i can confirm 1 out of 2 had a spare wheel.
The car will do lots of short runs so petrol is preferred.
Will have a look at Vectra's.

Spotted a 63 plate Corsa D with 7k on the clock for 6k.
Going to have a gander at that tomorrow.

Spare wheels cost £100 extra hence why some (most) don't have them.
Also the boot floor looks proper crap and I can see how you think it'd been reversed into something. They're all like it.

Also insignias aren't expensive, just sold a 2010 Sri 160bhp with 65k on and 20" alloys for 5500

Pneumothorax, I had that a couple of years back, lung effectively collapses, happened to me twice, but had a small Op to fix the issue and all is well, extremely common apparently.
