Hello! My name is Maciek and I'm from Poland. This forum was my biggest source of inspiration since I have my Corsa B and now, after 2 years od working on my car, I'd like to show it to you and read your advice and opinions.

To the point. This is 1996 Opel Corsa B, factory-equipped with X12SZ 45HP engine. I have it since 2012, but started modifications one year later. Equipment: two airbags, sunroof and a lot of rust under the car

This is how Corsa looked after purchase. And yes, it has flowers on the bonnet

The first things I've done were installing new stock suspension, because it has cut springs before, repairing left fender myself, painting bonnet and front bumper. The first modification: Arteb Black headlights.

In the interior I installed Kenwood KDC-U30 radio, post-lift steering wheel and fresh speakers, replacements for the originals, but with Kenwood they sound really good.

I started last year with -40mm Ta-Technix springs and Calibra rims with 195/50 tyres and installed GSi boot lip.

In 2014 has been done first works to remove rust under the car. In September I finally found a GSi front bumper at a reasonable price. I bought it with fog liths, but without lip and grille. Lip was more expensive than a bumper Unfortunately I didn't found grille, so I smoothed bumper. The fog lights are covered with yellow film.

My biggest passion, besides Corsa is making videos from drift events. Here's pic on winter setup with my mate's E36 2,8. a break while traveling on the race track.

This year I decided to make a SWAP to C16SE 100HP engine from Astra I. On the occasion I've painted engine bay. Looks much cleaner now.

First start:

I try to keep the engine bay as clean as possible, airbox looks much better now, but I don't have any actual pic.

Some time ago I bought pre-lift rear mudflaps. Yesterday I finished assembly center console after painting it. In the future I'll paint internal door handles and some other things in the same colour.

And some actual pics of my Corsa

View from my home

Next things to do:
- fight with rust part 2 and 3
- Lexmaul muffler
- GSi/Sport interior
- GSi sideskirts
- painting some body parts
- 256mm front brakes from Astra I
- front and rear strut bars
- Ta-Technix coilovers
- post-lift rear bumper
and so on and so on

Ok, this is the end of this so long post, now your turn to comment. Cheers

Hello Maciek, welcome to corsasport.

Glad that you have taken some inspiration from our forum. I have to say that your work so far looks very good. The painting you have done looks professional

I hope you win the war against rust ... its something that we are all having to deal with, so I feel your pain

Finally I managed to buy GSi seats with the rest of the interior. They require washing and can be mounted.

Some fresh pics from the biggest opel meeting in Poland, with newly installed Wiechers strut bar. I managed to qualify for the group of the most interesting projects at the event
