Vauxhall Astra mk4 sri 2.5 v6 for sale
Body - originally a 2000 mk4 astra 3door 2.0 16v sri (done 156k)
Engine vectra gsi 2.5 v6 x25xe approx(196 bhp) done 106k
11 months MOT (only needed a new handbrake cable for last mot)

LED number plate bulbs relocated/hidden in bootlid

When converting the engine the following work was done before fitting.
new Cam belt
new rocker cover gaskets
new exhaust manifold gaskets
new sump gasket
ultra light xe flywheel(revs up very fast)
3.0 v6 lower inlet divider
3 liter G cams
Blanked off EGR Valve
Since carrying out the conversion engine has also had the following
new coil pack
new ignition leads
new spark plugs(x6)
new air flow meter
new air filter
new oil and filter
Original dash temp gauge wired up and working / cooling fan still comes on as it should
Stainless straight through center section (not too loud on idle, but compliments the v6 nicely when you open the throttle
Bad points.
Bonnet has a few stone ships and could do with a respray to bring up to the same standard as the rest of the car
rev counter needs pulse converter (wired up but reads 50% higher)
Non genuine front bumper has some cracks in
Small leak from exhaust back box joint (will try and sort this out for next buyer)

As you can see in the pictures the car is in very good condition for its age, and looks like its done less a lot less miles.
Will be very sad to see this go, absolutely awesome to drive which never fails to put a smile on your face. Engine runs drives and sounds lovely, pulls like a savage in every gear all the way to its top speed of about 155mph.
There are very few of these v6 converted astras on the road, now is your chance to grab such a rare car without the trouble of doing the conversion yourself!!
