Recently videod something where I was walking around and I was wondering how to make the footage smoother instead of being able to notice the steps.

Anyone know if such items as above would help?

Look for a 3-axis gimbal; loads around for Go Pro's (Feiyu's aren't too bad from what i've seen) and you'll end up with pretty well stabilised footage (like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzAojs-HIxs).

That's superb, guessing that's similar to what drones are fitted with?

Yup. Otherwise you can use FlyCam/'Steadycam'-esque type rigs similar to what you posted but unless you spend serious money then you need a pretty steady hand in the first place.

Found them for around £140 watched quite a few videos and they seem superb. Found a mountain bike clip and it's really smooth.

can get drone ones for about 60 quid

have a look for tarot 2d gimbal, could easily work with the addition of a battery for it and some sort of mount

Feiyu tech do some pre made ones for this sort of stuff, more expensive though

these are expensive, but they are great, come with super friendly applications to make it easy to not only control and adapt your hardware but also edit and upload your videos direct to youtube if you wanted to etc. they will shoot 4k too i believe as its pretty much the same camera as in the inspire drones they sell.

ive had a go on this and the same kinda thing you posted above and this will be much better and also mounts will (if not already) be available for bikes
