Looks mint, love it. Are all cars of a similar age in that condition? Must be good to live somewhere where rust isn't a huge issue.

Im now starting to think this might be 'the' Nova instead of 'a' Nova. Things dont really rust here. A mate of mine specialises in 60's Hondas and doesnt even have a welder.....

The least i want to do is get it registered and legal. Here, if the current registration runs out (kinda the same as your tax) then the car must be inspected (its not annual here) and its very thorough. Its going to need a couple bits sorted for the inspection but once its on the road i plan to smarten it up, and if finances allow i want to restore it.

That's in amazing condition. I suppose sun/heat kills cars over there rather than the rain/rust here.

You could do a roaring trade getting RHD Corsa GSIs and shipping them over

Threw a bucket over it today.

Plan on chucking a belt on it soon.

Just generally give it a good service and see how it fares during inspection.

Also i spoke to the government section who deal with Australian imports/exports of vehicles, and they say this car was approved for import in 1997. Definitely explains the condition!
