Now back in 2000 or so there used to be loads of companies offering parts, shiny bits etc. Obviously a lot of my Corsa was home made stuff, so I've never really needed to look for bits and parts. So where do I start for my golf?

Goapr for the tuning
Forge for some bits
Vwr for some bits

That's about all I know. Any help?

Another vote for Shark Performance. They don't boast about peak figures but focus on the drive-ability and reliability

Checked IKEA for you but they don't appear to have a mk7 golf section. Am sure you already found that out though.

Not really somewhere you would want to spend your hard earned then if others can provide more power and still retain reliabilty etc.
