i did my infinity's for 40 hours, my kickers for 12(got fed up of it being so quiet!!)
It really does vary between makes and i couldnt find anything on sony's website, id say 25 hours max, but just a guess.

that'l b why they r shite then lol!!
It just depends if u wanna look after ur subs as to whether u run them in....they perform better when they r runnin warm neway, mine take about 15 minutes every time i run them to get goin properly....

My JL took around 25-30 hrs. Running on either half or 1/4 power. Then i went up loud.

If you buy cheap subs(Vibe) then maybe you dont really care too much how well they perform or last, but if you were to buy subs which cost a fair bit of money, you should really look after them.
If you buy a 50 quid nova, you're gonna thrash the tits off of it from the word go, if you buy a brand new ferrari, you'll take it easy and give the moving components in the engine a chance to wear in.

ive heard alot of the active vibe boxes that have been totally thrashed as soon as they are put in the car and they flex like fook now and distort to shit, around 3 mates have em.
My twin 12" box was run at 1/4 volume for 3 weeks, then run at 1/2 volume for 2 weeks. Sounds lurvley Corb ya got PM

i didnt think vibe were considered as a cheap brand. thought they were somewhere in the middle.

i dont consider them as i cheap brand, but ppl have their own opinions. I havent skipped any steps in my setup and i think they sound great, but there are better out there and i know it. It will get bigger and better
