I find out tomorrow if i need to get rid of the audi, so need a car. Will still have the corrado so it doesn't need to be my bestest car.

What I've been considering, budget between £1500-£5000

Mini cooper s, thinking its a bit small and gay, unless it's a nice smart out of budget one, not to keen on interior.

Mk1 audi tt coupe, v6. Thinking might not be a sensible choice and not much practical space and bit similar to corrado type of car.

Saab 9-5 aero, estate or saloon, quite like these and cheap, guy at work said they eat tyres and fuel.

Civic type r, the first one, quite cheap now and have good space with seats down, Also thought they don't have many problems as they are a Honda.

Volvo something or other or a bmw. Just want something that quite solid and doesn't have many things that need a specialist or expensive dealer parts.

Fuck the mini what a gay little car. If you doing some decent miles in it get a big diesel car. Same few people always say how good there mini is or was. Or a clio 182. Not everyone wants to drive round with a baseball cap on

Agree with the e46 sports. I've had a few and they never break down or cost much to maintain. So much better than anything vag in every way imo.

Going to look at E46's then.

Leasing is too expensive, costs more than buying and maintaining a car. Its for poofs who are scare mongered into it or people pretending they have made it in life.

E46's are such old hat now, surely you want something economical for a day to day car.

Or an easy way of getting into the latest cars with performance and efficiency while only paying off the depreciation

Not to start the old argument but why would you want to own something that will only ever lose money

For your budget I would look at the BMWs like the 3 litre dervs

Or maybe a 130i - special engine in a little car

Whether you buy or lease, you lose money, it's a pointless argument, some people just like new cars, some people don't.

I've always found the 30i engine a bit rubbish.

You're paying way more than the depreciation on a lease. You have to anyway else the lease companies wouldn't make any money!

They make the money when they sell it on, not so much on the lease. Some companies and Manufacturers sell(Lease) them at a loss for marketing purposes or to generate used stock in X amount of time.

I paid WAY less than the depreciation on my DS3, it was a short lived offer and only through one dealer. I wasn't after a DS3, offer came up, too cheap to say no; drove it, liked it, bought it.

Would 100% lease again.
