Just noticed this on AutoTrader earlier...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201611240062088?onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&price-from=2500&maximum-mileage=125000&price-to=3500&year-from=2006&transmission=Manual&postcode=ss12aq&radius=80&fuel-type=Petrol&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=distance&zero-to-60=TO_8&page=5

Would jump at it if I was in the market for a new hot hatch!

Typical African scam. I can't believe anyone actually falls for these

If I was scamming, I'd at least make the price semi-believable.

It's still for sale... AutoTrader links just never seem to work any more. Also, it's from a trader, so isn't a #dodgydeal lol.

It does have 100k miles and a damaged wing, but still well worth it in my opinion. Have checked MOT online and over the past couple of years it's certainly not had a completely rough life! Certainly better than some of the cars I've owned in the past.

Looks like it's had complete side damage to me not just front wing

God knows how anyone could do 100k in one of those - having owned one they must have aged 10 years doing that mileage in one of those

Am i the only one that doesn't think its OMG!! cheap at all. It's only because people on here think their 20 year old corsas are worth double that.

I don't disagree that the car in question isn't overly cheap, but you are speaking as someone who is happy to walk in to a showroom and buy a brand new car because that is what you want.

In the real world that you speak of, the market for a lot of 80's and 90's stuff has gone crazy, so yes, I could probably easily sell my 20 year old Corsa for more than that

Not saying it is worth that, but someone would pay it without a doubt.

Fair enough, I don't really keep an eye on these things... it's just I thought these were about £5000-6000 normally! Even adjusting for mileage and repairs it seems to be at least a grand cheaper than it should be.

looking at the MOT advisory checks are interesting,

owner didnt like paying for tyres much, keep seeing "tyres near legal limit" or "tyres showing ply cords"

either that or likes doing burnouts in the car park, if they cant be bothered to check or pay tyres then that makes me think they couldnt give a fuck about the rest of the car and hammered it

7year old Corsa with 100k thats pricey to fuel and insure, likely to need money spending so I don't think it is all that cheap?

That said I have zero idea what these go for
