Adam-D eh? there's no need for that.
UK_Sky, its pretty easy depening on what you get.
for a Panel Filter all you have to do is unclip the original airbox and pull the top off, take out the standard air filter (usually yellow) and replace it with the new one.
Clip it back together and away you go.
If you want more sound from the above option you can take the botton half of the standard airbox out out and drill a few holes on the bottom, and the side that next the the front wing ( not the engine side cause that will let hot air in).
you can drill loads of little holes, a more raspy sound, or a few larger ones ( no bigger that a 2p coin though) for a deeper sound.
If you're talking about an induction kit rip out the old standard airbox and use the fitting instructions to fit the new induction kit.
usually something along the line of screwing in the support bracket to the original airbox mount and putting a jubailee clip around the air intake pipe and the the indcution kit.
hope it HELPS.
