Well was 20min over pakin time outside uni...
the ba*tard decided to give me a ticket £30 if paid within 14days else £60!!!
after i had a go at the wa*ker and caused a nice scene... got into my car opened it up and they have firstly got my plate wrong
they put a 'P' instead of a 'C' - so i got all happy thinkin yeah i got away
they also listed it as OPEL when its a Vauxhall just i have OPEL badges on
but write at the bottom of the ticket they have my correct plate!!!
now what i dont know is if the pink bit at the bottom has a carbon copy for them or is it just the top white bit with all car and time details on it...
Any suggestions dont wanna pay 4 nothin...

was the road where it was parked have double yellows?
If so make sure they are finished properly, with a perpendicular line to the two yellows, and also make sure there are no gaps in the lines.
If there are then you can get away with it!

i wouldnt risk it, if you dont pay and they look into it and search for a opel with the wrong reg and then again with the correct reg and find a vaux they will most likely have ya!!!
i think you can call them and just ask if there is a ticket with your correct reg!! if they say no, then there must not be a carbon copy of the bottom, but i would of thought there was!!!!

well if they got my plate wrong at the top then i would have thought they would send it to that address and give someone else the hassle... thats wat im hopin 4

Just pay it mate,
Didn't you watch that Bailiffs program on BBC1 last night. There are so many knobs that don't bother and a £30 fine turns into a £400 fine when the bailiffs come out.
My brother contested one that he got and refused to pay it,When he got the letter saying the bailiffs were coming to get his car he decided to payup.In the end he had to pay £150.
The moral of the story is you never win if you have a parking fine.

Happened to me once, they put wrong reg number on the ticket, i just threw it away and forgot about it!!!

I was late for my car today (only 5mins mind) as i go to the road I was parked down i saw the parking attendant come out of the road. I thoght uh oh they must of given me a ticket.
get to my car and no ticket they had given ticket to car next to mine though. phew

some tried to ticket my car up london at about 1 in the morning the dopy traffic warden got my number plate wrong so no ticket although somebody must have got though, unlucky them lol
