I just got a letter under my doors saying I was "driving at an unacceptable speed" within Uni grounds. F00kin £25 fine

Theres no speed signs anywhere, apart from one on the floor, facing the wrong way on an uphill junction.

Is it up to them what speed is unacceptable?! Cause they can't prove what speed I was doing in the first place.

All this cause I was trying to prove to a mate my car won't wheel spin, even in a big puddle. Obviously, it did, and there was a security guard stood there.

no there is not law that can be applied on private property u dont have to pay the fine

if they cant prove your speed then tell them to GTF

I've been warned the a security guard before about wheelspinning around corners in the gravel.

We even waved at the guy as we drove past him. Hell, I slowed down for the speed bumps and EVERYTHING

if as u say the speed sign on the floor is facing the wrong way, then thats their fault, so if they took u to court they wouldnt have a leg to stand on.

signs must be clearly displayed! (i dp a law modual at uni and a similar thing happened at my uni and the uni had to change there signs
