was looking at what i want for my next car.

my friend works at head office of vw, so can get me 20% off, so i was thinking a polo sport 1.9 tdi pd 3dr, 0 - 60 in 10.7 secs. with friends discount works out little over £10k.

insurance for me (at 19 with 1yr ncd) and dan (23 with 5 yr protected ncd) £760.71

i'm paying £850 at the mo for my 1.2 corsa which is nearly 2 yrs old!!!

what do you's think?

its either that or a 1.4 petrol, surely they got about same performance?

in fact the diesel engine is ever so slightly faster than the 1.4

my 1.4 sport is meant to do 0-60 in 10.5 and that feels like a life time and a lot of effort...
