i've bought some lowering spring from PVD, who i must plug for being v helpful!

i know how to fit the fronts if i have the right sized sockets and spanners. i've got spring compressors too.

but, when i take the old spring off of the original damper, do i have to compress the new spring for me to beabe to screw the caps back in place. And for the whole strut to fit nicely back togeter.

or do you just plonk the new spring over the old damper and screw it all bakc together?

the Backs seem quite easy, but i when reading my haynes modding manual it says you ahve to do both sides at the same time. is this true?

Because i don't have 2 trolley jacks to lower the suspension arms down in order of the old springs to fall out and the new ones to be pushed in place.

Can you just work on one side a time on the rear then?

cheers

Matt

When I did my suspension my springs didnt need to be compressed to be put back onto the strut, the difference is that I have new shocks also.

it's been pretty easy to do.

but my only problem has been undoing the top nut. fucking annoying.

A stupid size and i need a stupid tool for it. well annoyed about that.
