between 3 - 4000 revs it will sound nice but if your after a really deep tone drill the air box or buy an induction they are on my list after smoked rear lights

Red I heard about it as well glad you are OK though

just because it aint loud inside, doesnt nesecarily mean its loud outside

let it warmup, then while idle-ing get out & go round the back & have a listen

or just take the centre silencer out & it'll be louder

I got a custom made back box on my corsa c and mine makes a nice deep sound and rumbles on tick over.

u'll need to remove the center silencer mate to get any noise off most back boxes for the corsa c.

by the way, an exhaust will sound it loudest when its brand new, because the inside of the exhaust is clean. after a while exhaust fumes leave a build up in the inner sides and therfore quieten the exhaust

i got an SRi 1.8 and have a cat back system. i had the centre muffler replaced with a 'hotdog' type resonator and a jap style 'bullet' backbox. its pretty quiet at idle but sounds really throaty when i boot it

as gambit says, it'll be loudest when new and as the muffler cokes up on carbon it will quieten and change note.

most backboxes sound shit on a corsa c compared to other cars due to the corsa c's silencers in the center etc.

A custom backbox will be a lot louder than say a scorpion, magnex etc..

If you do buy a backbox then pay to get the centre silencer removed....

Better to go custom IMO
