Was pinking when i bought it but didn't realise as it only comes in at 3000 revs and when its under a bit of a load e.g going up a steep hill. On my old engine it was quiet bad and when that packed in, i got a new engine and i thought the pinking would stop, but i was wrong. It must be something to do with the ecu, but what? ive already spent loads on the car. HELP!!!!

when you got a new engine you should have swopped the EC, so if you have the same problem again its unlikely to be the ecu again

do a tank or two of optimax in, or super unleaded if its all u can get,
worked a treat for me
