I got all the docs through in about 4 days from dvla.

Got a reciept of payment then the docs through the post...If you have a dvla centre
near you just go there with all the Stuff..MOT,TAX, REG DOCS and they do it on the spot.
so all in all about 5 days.

phone dvla and ask where their nearest office is......Shouldn't take that long in the post
though..

But you have to send tax disc away so will be running about with no disc on car..
I done it for 1 day...
Suppose you would get off the fine though...
