Can someone explain to me why tyres are black? Why can't you choose the colour of your tyres?

You can get other colours they're was a tyre with the union jack patteren in the red white and blue...

I asked the centre manager at my local Kwik Fit this question and he just laughed at me. I feel like making a complaint and demanding some free wiper blades as compensation!

You can get tyres with red, yellow,white bands around them!!!!

u can get different colour tyres as ive seen them before, think they are from the USA

I would like to paint my tyres in Caribic Blue, however B&Q won't mix me some paint at the Dulux counter thingy there, the bastards! Vauxhall don't even know what caribic blue is and suggested that it might be a Ford colour!

- I have run out of ideas..... Hold on you could wrap them in christmas paper cos no one will see the pattern when your driving just get the colour right...

Yes, and I could buy some of those "tyre fly" things that fit on to the tyre valves, my car will look WELL PHAT then!

I nearly bought a 2.2 Astra Coupe!! I had a 1.8 Astra SRi... Nice cars to drive felt pretty quick too!
