can get insured on a 1.8 t sport for 1200 quid so thinking bout selling the corsa soon
do it up as an s3 replica. easy enough to get 210 bhp from them anyway.

exactly what i thought, always wanted an s3 but 1. they are mega expensive and 2 no chance i would get insured. this way i can make it look like one at get the engine upto its spec when money and insurance allows
plus its a darn site better than a bumpy slow, crapply built corsa which i have now.

I quite like the A3. Been out a few times in a 1.8T Sport, very nice, it was standard (boss's company car), but very quiet inside, excellent handling for a standard car (would put most standard Vauxhall's to shame).

Yeah my old manager had one of the 1.8T's and i was allowed to drive it as it was a company car (not bad when ur 19!!) and thought it was a brilliant car, interior aint anything special though
getting it up to 210bhp wont be cheap though!
i was looking at getting a S3 possibly in a year or so

Driven an S3 bloody excellent simply a TT in a A3 body. Chip an S3 could get a possible 265bhp

found a chip which raises too 200 bhp for 500 quid. that coupled with filter blow off vlave and full zoorst should be quite near 210

only niggly thing I have aboutmums s3 is I dont like the seats. Theyre meant to have received loads of industry awards for comfort and safety 4 the seats, but I cant get comfy at all. Get back ache afetr 20-30 miels in it.
the 225bhp version btw can be easily remapped to give 280 bhp. If u get one ask some1 at a audi gargae about it, they basically send the ecu off to germany and it comes back and voila extra horsies.

its basically the same engine, so chopping and changing parts from the variety of vag 1.8 turbo engines should give you the performance what you want. i assume the 210 bhp one only has bigger intercoolers and a different ecu over the 150 version.
