Ive just fitted a K&N induction kit today but the person who i bought it off didnt supply the cold air feed. He has told me to use my own piping which i am happy to do but i havent got a clue where the air feed goes.......sum1 please help me on this.
At the minute it hasnt got a cold air feed, is this still safe to drive?

its still safe to drive, but u wont benefit from the K&N until u get a cold feed for it. normally best place to put it run it from filter to front of grill if possible

its not the actual attaching its the location of the cold air feed. do i cut a hole in the filter and attach it that way?

nah u dont attach it to the air filter, it aint like the pipercross viper, u just leave the cold air feed dangling, facing it toward the filter, then the cold air goes up through the pipe and the filter just sucks it up!
