215/35/18, ive heard(i think) that et45's will catch on something uner the arch, so would i be better off with et40. The wheels i want come in et40 or et45.

to get on 18's ur gonna have to cut the inner arch away, et45 is your best bet as et 40 will rub even more

On my Dad's Porsche the rear tyres are 265/35/18 And they will cost LOTS of money to replace, so not too many doughnuts

You'd have trouble dougnutting a front wheel drive car, unless you do it in reverse, but its not a dougnut then

i have just fitted some 7x18 et45 wheels with 215/35/18 tyres. it rubs on really harsh lumps. your arches will also have to be cut back if they havnt already.

I have standard arches with lots of inner arch work done. Mine are 7 x 18's Et45, With ET 47 on rear. Lowered 60mm at rear and 75mm at front on coilovers, hardly any rubbing and can have people in the back!
