use a thermostat from a 1.2 in a 1.4 16v.....

coz in a 1.4 16v, the fan kicks in at 100c, and in a 1.2 it kicks in about 95c. SO if i put a thermo from a 1.2 into my 1.4, will it kick in at 95c and keep my engine cooler?

good idea if it works

it looks well dodgy when the needle goes all da way to 100c!

its the fan switch, a temp sensor in the rad. The themostat sits at the top of the rad, it keeps the rad closed until the engine has reached a certain temp, then opens the rad so it can cool down. It helps the engine warm up quicker.
