any ideas how 2 hook up a parking brake wire as my screen wont work properly unless this is hooked up any ideas?

ha ha ha - mate the real question should be anyone know how to cut this wire or sumthing so u can pimp it around with the screen on.

what screen is it?
Normally the parking brake wire should be connected to an earth for it to work permanently. Thats what it was in my alpine screen anyway.

Yeh all you do is take that wire to a clean earth point and pukka, you have screen

i just did one of those for a mate the other day, but i wired it to a switch on the dash just incase he gets pulled by coppers.

and i couldnt be bothered with a switch as all my cables are in the back of the car!

Yeah as said above, you just earth the wire - sorted. It tells the screen that the handbrake is on all the time.
