I have read a few threads now on here and most say to recover the rear seats with the calibra cover, which is cool, but can you do the same with the front seat? Rather than swap the seats?

I think the Calibra seats are wider at the fronts due to them being sports seats - does this get in the way of the gear stick? I.e. Reverse and 5th?

Some of the posts said that just putting the claibra seats in fit ok apart from moving the seat up and down cos the knob is wedged down?
What about other VX cars. Would all material come of the seats easy enough and go on a corsa seat, front and back?

i put corsa sport seats into my 5 door, now these are wider as mav3000 said than the standard ones, asfor the rear seast i just changed the covers off the sport seats and put them onto my old rear seast.

I dont fancy changing my seats, id rather try and get the calibra leathers on my front seats
Has anyone tried this i wonder

why not, it takes like 5 minutes to change the seats, they are only held in by 4 bolts. it would take many hours trying to put the cally leathers onto your seast, for one they arent the same shape.

it would work a lot more neatly if you just change the complete seats.

I was going to pay to have my interior retrimmed, mainly because of the seats but il do it myself now.
Must see about getting these calibra seats.
What about the carpet and roof cards, i know they are really fragile. Have you done these kris?

Are they hard to wire up? Do you just need a switch for on and off, or pull the controls out of the car too?

For the record, I don't have the wiring for heated setats - even on my sparkly new loom But you could have guessed that probably!
I'd have Calibra seats if I saw then for sale cheap!

I'm looking to re-trim my door cards next week as my front too now have holes in.
I'm looking to buy the material directly from CobraSeats.com (via telephone) for £39 a metre! They do cheaper material, but I want the good stuff!

I've been putting it off for ages because its so blinking expensive for basically material!
I'm tempted to buy cheaper stuff, but will I regret it if I do? Thats the problem isn't it!

I know what you mean - you can't see your exterior when your in the car so whats the point of modifying if your only bothered about your own appreciation of the car and don't look at it all the time?
I styled my interior first before anything.
