doin a oil change now but my dipstick is different to the ones in the hanes manual and the vaux handbook mine has a plastick end on it

how far up this plastic thing do i go---or more?

There should be a marker on the end of the stick...

theres two indents in the plastic bit im guessin the max is the top indent

why do i have to have a wierd dipstick!

dunno mate...on mine its a metal stick with two markings...normally has to be in between if im not mistaken!!

dont think so checked an i cant find one
mon-fri 9 til 8 sat 9 to 2

btw done oil change POP 20 mins done just think thatd be £30 labour if a garage had done it!

Its a rip off...things like that are vest donw youeself..unless it invalidates warrant.
