righty i think ull find its because of the size of the h/u internal amp. Is there nowhere in the alpine loom you can connect it to? (There are usually bullet connectors)
Wiring it into the fusebox is gonna be a bastid.

ah right well if it says connect directly to battery, then do that, if the cable is long enough.
If not, you will have to pop 2 ur local ICE shop and get some cable the same size as the yellow cable, and run it to the battery then to the yellow cable.
Is there an inline fuse on the yellow cable?

no problem bud.
Yes it does look like ur gonna have to get some extra cable. Because the yellow wire has an in line fuse, its designed to go directly to the power source.
You dont want to connect it into the h/u loom after all, because it would be defacing the point of making the cable bigger. Because the h/u has a higher output amp than most others, it needs more current.
By making the cable bigger and going directly to a power source will give it the extra current it requires. It is fused obviously for protection because it goes directly to the battery.
So im afraid its your only option halfords are open on a sunday.

you need to get a 10mm spanner to loosen the nut on the + side and put the cable in there and tighten. You'll be able to do it.
Try and keep the cable as short as possible, but dont be too careful with it.

right ive tried it m8y, all done apart from the yellow wire, its not long enough to reach the battery and i didnt have a clue which port to use in the fuse box, so im gonna go 2 my local ice shop in the mornin and either ask em which fuse port to use or to extend the wire, hopefully it will be done then, then ive got the components to figure out

just get some cable the same guage as the yellow one (not sure, probably about 20AWG) and run it to the battery, through a spare grommit in the bulkhead and connect it up. Simple.
And its an 8mm bolt on the back of vauxhall OE cages

spade connectors. pop 2 halfords, only like £1.99, just ask for speaker spade connectors.
