I was talking to a bloke a couple of years back who had a bike - he had wired his horn button to a solonoid which when pressed, made the rear plate drop down (it had a hinge along the bottom edge) to show a picture of a hand pulling a V behind - I cn just see the look on the persons face who looks at the pics from a Gatso

i was doing 100mph, then spotted em and got down to 60mph, hopefully they didn't get me, no ones fault but my own.......pisses me off, only bit of road to overtake for miles and u get 1/2mile of dual carriageway, so they sit at the end of it

Demon tweeks sell then
its an lcd display i think where u program ur plate number in when u flick a switch it turns off the lcd. Copper mate of mine told me last week that if u cover ur plates in lip gloss then the cameras cant get ur number coz the camera reflects its flash n blurs the numbers!

the LCD ones work ok, tried one b4
camera shy (TM) plates work - others hardly work
u can get 2 flashers which go either side of the plate which flash when they are activated by an external flash, double exposing the picture (white blurr)
u can get raidar scramblers which go behind your grill, used on planes to avoid the raidar missiles which latch onto them, they are illegal (as far as i know) as they can brake/lock speed guns
loads of stuff around
id just get a set of plates with 2 digits swapped round
no point in mine tho as they still know its me

oh, the LCD ones dont hold your plate, they have an LCS cover similar to a watch which fill up with liquid crystal when u turn them on, but in yellow not black

right, have u ever seen a clear display LCD clock like ones in gadget shop b4?
they are basicly see thru but the cells fill with liquid crystal when a current is passed thru them and u can see the numbers on the clock, and can not see thru them
this is one large lcd panel which goes ontop of your plate, when its turned off u can see thru it, turn it on and it blocks any light going thru it
