I Got the Same Problem mate!
I got the Screws out no probs, but its held in there by the frame same how!
i took the whole front of the centre console out, and still cant feel anything to release it.
but i'm sure theres a bolt on the rear which is keeping the unit and the cage bit toghether.
Normally on the cage bit theres like a wall plug sort of clip which holds it in there but i cant find it.
Good Luck Thought!

best way to get it out is to get a wire coat hanger and cut it up into two pieces about foot long each. bend them so that each end can go into the holes where you took the screws out.
This will allow you to take the headunit out as it uncatches it at the side

get removal heys only about 3 squid, the radio will pull out easy. the bolt at the back holds the cage staright. the cage is a pain in the twat, i ended up bending it to get it out then forcing the old HU back into the frame to get its shape back when i sell the car on. Good luck fellaz
