I recently dropped my car 40mm on a Gmax full kit tho it has dropped much lower than 40mm. I had a bit of an accident the other day went the rear brakes locked up and I ended up in a ditch. What has anyone else done to the adjuster and has anyone else had this problem???

the bias valve adjusts the brakes to stop them locking up. Lowering it has no effect. It will only make the brakes better. Think about it ?

It makes the rear brakes work harder when there is more weight in the back. Therefore if the car is lowered it has the same effect as having weight in the back meaning the brakes will lock the rear wheels. It was your driving chunk that put you in the hedge!!!!

huh?? are you nutz. if you believe that then you will kill yourself. you have too adjust it or you will cause an accident. your car will brake slower as the rear wheels loose traction.

So the spring shouldnt be loose or under tension then? Mine seems a bit loose, will adjust at the weekend.

yeah, not loose and not tight. only just in tension to stock it sagging.
it takes 2 minutes too do, you dont even need to jack the car up. its a case of undoing one bolt, sliding it a little then doing it up again.

Just checked mine, seems quite firm, has been lowered 40mm, not had a problem with the back brakes locking - leave as it is?
When I jacked it up previouslt it was loose, just checked it with no jack.

some people do need it adjusted some don't, its good practise to 'check' it when you make any changes to the suspension set up
