Yes u can run throttle bodies with a turbo.
If its not possible, then how comes the GTi_R's come with both as standard??
Yes its true.
There is also a guy on Mig with a 2.0litre 16v, Throttle bodied, turboed Mini!!!!!!!!

Mantzel box is not a throttle body. Its just a chamber where air collects before going down into the head.
Its the part of the engine where the butterfly is. The butterfly opens up (Just like a blower on a drag car) and allows a certain amount of air into the engine.
Lukes was a 1.6 16v Turbo with Mantzel box yeah.

There is no real advantage of running both for various reasons.

The TB sound is completely lost becuase they are enclosed in the whol einlet system sono TB sound, just turbo spool.

like the others said it can be done and has been done,so the evidence is all there isnt it?
as for the psi thing, some engines can be more powerful running only 6psi than another running 15psi, it depends how the lump handles it and uses the boost effectively

think nissan GTI-R and GTR Skyline.
both use them and both have a common chamber feeding them.
