whats the chances that springs or kits that say for all corsas (or similar to that effect) will be suitable for the TD engine? im sure its one of the heaviest lumps a corsa can come with so would they be ok?

there are kits solely for TD's

but you could run a GSI sport kit i reckon without any probs, might go a bit lower than stated on the front due to the extra weight, but not that much

ok, first set of springs i had were for diesel models only. really good, i then got some for all models and they are jiz, so much infact that im either gonna change them for more diesel springs or get some 2l ones.

only get ones specifically for diesels.

PI for instance

it rolls far too much otherwise and is really bouncy.

cheers fella, i just looked at PI and it says its only a 35mm drop, dont spose you have pictures of your motor on these springs by any chance?

I wanted to drop it 60mm but cos im on a budget and more interested in saving for a new car id rather get a cheaper compromise. thanks for the help anyway guys

dont go for 60mm unless u get shorter shocks aswell.

if i was going for 60mm i knew i would of had to get a kit, thats why i am now changing my mind to springs as they are about 1/3 the price. lookin at your pic, looks good but front end looks higher than the back. maybe its me eyes!

if u look at a standard corsa the front archs sit higher anyway, it just highlights this fact putting wider wheels and lowering.

i measured the sills front and back when i did it and they went down almost identical amounts.
