According to MultiMap, the closest station to S'ton Marina (I'm assuming that's the same place as the Docks) is Woolston Train Station...

I love in southampton for uni - the closest to red funnel ferry terminal is called southampton central - it'll be after u go undergorund under the park; neway the docks are mainly there - however the docks run for about 10 miles overll so Im just giving u a rough idea

Most of the cab firms hve taxi ranks at ll stations and they're good value - if there isnt one there phon 0700 0700 0700 0r 0700 777 777 7 for a cab

Red funel is pretty much the main area of the docks and the station is the min one in Soton. Finally u'll hve a 5/10 mins walk from the station to the docks
