Looks quick but the engine won't last long if he keeps hitting 7500 rpm every gear change.

not standard vts - probs induciton kit, zorst, de-cat, cams
im not sure, but its running 14.9 1/4 miles so id guess at about 150-160bhp
indicator is on aswell as he did it on a motorway, the engine management light is orange at the bottom of the dash, it does come on duing the vid

all it has is a sealed induction kit and an exhaust.
perhaps one of the rare 130bhp VTS's.
uksky> in a straight line pretty equal, but if any corners are involved, ha ha, the VTS would win.

errrrr not even equal in a straight line - vts will cane the corsa.
theres a fella near me whose got the 1.8 sri and he can't get away from my cousin's vtr
plus the corsa simply does not corner

i was only going by the book figures. but there all shite anyway.
i own a VTR, but have never came up against anything but 1.2 16v sxi's C's, and a couple of sri B's.

so what has the VTS go that the corsa dont, im assuming the SRi 1.8 is 16V and the 1.6 is also 16v. so how is it that the VTS would can the Corsa. .. <<Genuine question not being thick am i?

the saxo is a much lighter car therefore the power:weight ratio is higher. plus they handle brilliant for such a small hatch
the 1.6 16v gsi engine is underpowered at 106bhp but this is easily tuned
the 1.8 16v is just a crap engine thats been lifted straight out of a vectra, not made for performance, and the corsa c is a very heavy car
