I've got another standard one that i fancy smoothing, or getting the knowledge at least.
Thing is, i wouldn't know where to start. Would have to be good enuff never to sink, but be nice and smooth.
Anyone help out?

To get it glass smooth be prepared for lots of rubbing.
I sandwitched the holes with P38 plastic padding, and have had no probs 18 months later.
Obviously, if you wanted to completely fill and flush it your gonna need to use glass before the filler.
It really isn't too difficult, the worst part in my opinion is the bloody rubbing down all the time, especially if doing it by hand. The end result is worth it though.
