Its getting rediculous that this bloke is in the press everyday - people are making a god out of him - why is he so expensive for fucks sake - i think he is way over-rated. They say he's good at free kicks but he doesnt score that many 
Enoughs enough though, His Ego will be bigger than his reputation before too long.

 He scores 2wice as many as any other fottballer i can think of!!!!!!! Hes one of the best crossers in the world and IMO he totally justifies £25m.. in fact tI still think man utd got a very poor deal outta that... Rio ferdinand £30m and Beck £25m... hmm, bargain of the century if ya ask me!!!!

Not doubting his work rate but i think he'll totally over-rated, can be a passenger the whole game, puts one good cross in and sets a goal up and he's a hero.
Fair play to him though, earned a good living!

near enough all the goals that were scored while he was at manchester united were set up by him. When he left United you could tell the difference. Only just now got a player who can do a similar job to beckham....excepts he doesnt only score from dead ball situations.

Exactly. Beckham is a player anyone would want in their team. So what if hes not a prolific tackler, his set pieces and passes alone earn him the right to play with the best of them. How often do you see Ronaldo go in for a tackle?

end of the day he's one of the finest footballers this country has ever got....
he works hard for his money and entertains millions doing it..... so what if he earns more than the guy who runs our country - says something about the British public and their conception of this country as a whole
