im now thinkin of getting the jl audio 250/1 mono amp to power my jl12''w3d2, the sub is rated at 250wrms, however ive wired the subs voice coils in parallel running it at 1 ohm as stated on the tech sheet, this amp can run at 1.5 ohms, will this sound any good basically? cheers

If the amp can 'only' handle down a 1.5ohm load, then showing it a 1ohm load will cause it to thrmal shut down, I would think.

<0.05% @ 4 ohm

S/N Ratio*:
>95dB below rated power


If JL audio says it can only go down to 1.5 ohm, dont even risk takin it down to 1 ohm.
