Does this mean that any photo messages I send by email will be free as well?

I can't be arsed to phone them, because whenever I do, they spend about 10 years explaining everything to me in great detail when all I want is a simple yes or no answer!

General Packet Radio Service (I think!!)... means you can use WAP without having to be connected the whole time - you only pay for data sent/received basically.

no it dnt, gprs is a way of accessing wap, its an allways on connection to the wap service but u only pay for wot u download. u are not able to upload (i think?) so u wood be able to upload taken pics. pics only work over mms (multiemedia service) so u will still av 2 pay for em.

But what if I email the pic, not send it to another phone? Surely the email is sent over GPRS, as I'm not sending another phone a photo message?

motorspeed, MMS works over GPRS, so fiddle with a couple of settings and u can get around it. Use the same IP as ur GPRS connection, just go thru the MMS gateway. Should work.

Well on my phone under the 'Messages' menu, I've got Text and Multimedia messages, if I go into Text, there is an option there that says 'Create e-mail', this is what I use to send photos to email addresses.
So basically when the email is sent from my phone, it is using GPRS, and not MMS or whatever?
