ive just bought a set ov 5.1 surround sound speakers for me computer, ive getting the sub woofer and 2 front speakers werking, but to get the other 3 werking i need to access Nvidia nForce control panel..... which is no where on computer...so i downloaded latest drivers for souind card.. cos it was in the driver package... wen i install the driver and click on the Nvidia nForce control panel i got a message say "failed to initialize the NVIDIA audio driver" so i put the original drivers back on but no joy

Can anyone help plz?
is it possible to just d/l the Nvidia nForce control panel? cos i cudnt find it wen i looked
(and yes my sound card is 5.1 compatible)

5.1 should have 5 speakers and a sub.

can u not find the settings thru the windows control panel?

are on win xp?
If so, click my computer, goto change a setting, click sounds, speech and audio devices, then click change the speaker settings. In the speaker setiings bit, click advanced.., then just select the speakers u have (5.1 blah blah...)

start- settings- control panel- audio settings, lets u select type of audio set up, i.e mono stereo, laptop and theres an option for 5.1 surround sound

yer i got 5 speakers n sub! i shud hav a seperate audio control panel as well as the windows one, cos the otha allows you to activate the other speakers.
