what colour primer do i use if i want to spray my door handles flame red?
White primer or red primer ?

I thought primer was primer at the end of the day, as long as you use the correct primer on the correct surface...

u can get different colours of primer to suit the colour of paint being used
but for handles u want to use plastic primer

u will be able to get plastic primer coloured red if u go to a motorfactors that has a primer mixing scheme. i wouldnt bother tho coz u hope not to be getting any stoncechips up the side of ur car and a handles small anyway. id just use normal plastic primer

doesnt really matter, i use grey primer on everything. if u use decent paint (ie not cellulose) u will get a nice thick covering anyway.

Just don't use a darker primer than the finished coat, it seems to take the shine off.

but then u cant use white primer with white paint cos u cant see where you hav apinted as easily.
