Do you all have the ability to move/edit/delete threads and posts in ALL forums, or just your 'designated' one?
Or is this something only Ian & Tim can do?

They can only do the above if they are moderator of the specific forum.
Like I could only delete threads that were in the Help & Modification forum.

They just have their 'designated' ones that they can alter posts in, see IP addresses etc

You can move stuff out of your own forum. ie. posts anywhere can end up Off Day'd or Trashed.

Ian and Tim control all.
I can move/edit/delete any post in any forum and can do other little tricks aswell like prune the trashcan and change peoples names etc (but dont cos not allowed) and can also ban members and I.P addresses.
The moderators can edit/move posts in their specific forums only.
Think thats it.

Can I be made a moderator? I never give out my username and password, or credit card details to anyone!

That doesn't entirely describe the role Sam.

Yes I know but I have wanted to be a moderator for ages. I feel that I have the requirements for the job!
Plus I have been registered on this site longer than most if not all of the other moderators.

Being a moderator gives you a constant hard on.
You feel like you are able to tackle all the worlds problems just because you have the power to make peoples questions and queries disappear.

Well no seeing as I spend my life on CS (which is something I've been told by more than one person - ), I feel that I may as well be made moderator and be 'part of the team'!
