Took a gamble 3 and a half weeks ago by going down to Southend, (1hr 20mins away) to buy a 93 1.4 SRi Corsa.
Got down there had a look at it, it had been keyed down the passenger side and we started it up and it sounded very rough, the engine management light was also on.
week later changed the oil, air filter, fuel filter, sparkies and cambelt, and it seemed a bit better, and finaly i found someone other than Vauxhall with the thing to put into the car to find out why my light was on, turns out to be the Map reading sensor, the pipe had come off, so just put it back on the guy said a tenner will do, and it now starts up perfectly!!
So for £1200 and £50 spent on parts so far i think ive finnaly got a good deal

age has no reflection on quality.
Its a deal mate, my sister paid £1800 for a K reg sri with 52k on it. She crashed it and the insurance paid out £1800 for it, if they value it like that then its probably worth more!

Sri and Gsi hold their value better than Sport models for some reason.
