Having read all these CTR topics, im debating buying a second hand one. Yes, ill be 19 if and when id have the possibility to get one, but I could go named driver until my second no claims bonus comes though next summer, and keep the corsa in the meantime.

No idea what to do. Just love those cars.

awaits flaming jap crap post's etc... ah well

Just looking around, I reckon I could get one for 12-13k... the car purchase isnt a problem. Natrually it would be on HP, but just insurance im worried about. Good postcode, dads maxed up NCB's ... CCTV driveway blah blah blah... just been wondering. My brother has a CTR, wonder if he would sell.

ARGH... gunna get the old man to call his insurer's later for a quote. might try a one off payment with elephant on his policy, I cant see it being that bad

I had a modified RS Turbo when I was 18/19, all my mates had novas and fiestas. You only live once, go for it!
I paid £1200 on the RST and it was worth every penny.
